SOME FAVORITES!!

TIME

Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day.
What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course! Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose.

It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back.

There is no drawing against the "tomorrow." You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success! The clock is running.

Make the most of today. To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train. To realize the value of ONE-SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.

Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time. Remember that time waits for no one. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present!

LIFE

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.

So love the people who treat you right.
Love the ones who don't just because you can.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Kiss slowly.
Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy.
He just promised it would be worth it.

Kids sleep in the craziest positions!!

The other day I went over to ride my horse. Imree hadn't had a nap so I knew I was going to have to hurry and ride before she became crabby. I was just walking back from putting my horse away and Koye was playing in the arena, I asked him where Imree was and he said she was asleep in the tack room on the chair. Koye said he moved the horse pads and things so she could sit down on the chair. What a great big brother! I walked in and this is what I saw. I think she was asleep for about 5 minutes, with the chair swiveling back and forth, it was hilarious. I remembered I had my camera in my car, but this was all I could get before she woke up. Funny little worm!! She cracks me up!

Cain is a lot nicer than I am, when the kids sleep with us, I sleep on the couch! Our bed isn't big enough for all of us, especially Imree!! Little girl moves around so much!!

See what I mean?!! And Koye, can you see him? He steals all the covers!! I don't know how that stinkin bear got in his bed either? I guess Imree wanted him to have something to sleep with!!

More Ramblings!!!

I got home from work one morning about 6 and this is what the sky looked like!! It was prettier in town than from my house, but I didn't have my camera! But for you all you sleepy heads, this is for you. I love when the moon is huge and lights up the sky.

Right now its raining and its not the dark cloudy rain, its bright, sunny and warm. I love rain like this! Its so calming and peaceful and smells so good!! Some of my best times riding have been when its raining like this, I LOVE IT!!

I'm reading this little short book called, "I hope you know how much I love you!" and there was this quote in it that says, "If I were married to me would I be happy? Would I love being around me? Am I fun to be with?" Holy crap, um no, no and no!! Poor Cain!! I can only blame it on the weather and not riding and being stuck in the house so much right? I better change my attitude cause my kids are starting to act the same way!! NOT GOOD!! Difficult things happen to all of us, things are not always hunky-dory but I'm sure I could think of others that are enduring worse and have been happy through it all. I need to make a goal and be like that! My life is not bad at all, I have two wonderful kids that I love to death, a house over my head (I really really wish I could magically change the carpet and the counter tops, but someday!) I have a job and running car, my kids are healthy and for the most part we get along. If I can continue to live the way I'm suppose to hopefully my kids will catch on to that instead of my short comings! I decided that in the morning, if I remember and it may sound strange, but I am going to give myself a pep talk, reminding myself that it isn't as bad as I think it is and not to worry about it, or something to go with my feeling that day.

My friend Sammi sent me a quote a couple weeks ago and I love it, "Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says "Oh Crap, She's up!" I need to be stronger each day, not only for me but for my kids. Life sucks sometimes, but you deal with it and move on!! There is always something good in every day. I may get to talk to someone I don't get to talk to very often and that makes me day even my week sometimes, my kids laugh is contagious, how could they go a full day without laughing and if they do, I'm not being a very good mom. These are just a few things that even if I am having a bad day, there is always something good about.

Much needed!!

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that Person..

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need
You have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with
Guidance and support, To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an End.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
Fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has
Come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy..
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional
Foundation..
Your job is to accept the lesson,
Love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other
Relationships and areas of your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

March 31st, 2011

Tonight was a great night for wrestling, given Koye didn't do his best but these kids were older and have been doing it a little longer. He wrestled Dylan, his cousin and was doing really well but gave up. Poor kid started to cry and if any of you know me I don't handle crying well!! Not at all!! Needless to say I had to walk away, but both of us calmed down and I told him that if he wrestled his best that I would let him get his very own ice cream from Kiwi Loco (my all time favorite ice cream place). He wrestled the next kid and pinned him but it took him longer than usual. He still did great. I'm so proud of him for not giving up. After the match I asked him if he was happy he wrestled again and with tears in his eyes he said, "Mom I don't like 2nd place, I only like 1st, 2nd isn't very good." I was laughing so hard, sometimes kids have to learn that they can't win everything and Koye is slowly but surely learning that, So either he will work harder so he doesn't lose or he will deal with it. Who knows he is only 5!!! On our way to Kiwi Loco Cain was talking about how bad he sucked at wrestling in high school and Koye says, "Dad, if you ever want to wrestle with, what do you call them, um.. What you and mom are, um.. adults, I will teach you all my moves if you want me to!" So stinkin sweet of him to offer that!! He is such an amazing kid and growing up so fast, everyday is something new!!
I have to add in that I really don't care for Easter candy, but I will tell you these are by far my favorite. Blackfoot, the lame city that it is didn't have any. Seriously Wal-mart, Ridleys, Walgreens and even Keslers. I had to make a quick stop at Target because I knew they had some!! Gosh Blackfoot really needs to get with it!! Haha

A LITTLE UPDATE!!

So far this wrestling season has been great. Koye has only lost one match!! He is doing great and loving every minute of it. He is such a good sport and makes sure to tell the other kid good job. He loves it when his coach comes over to help him, I think it makes him feel like he is a pretty big deal. I had Koyes Kindergarten check up yesterday and he is weighing in at 47 pounds and is 42 3/4 inches. The little shrimp is 50th percentile on height and 75th percentile on weight. Lets just say he isn't starving!! His eyesite is great for his age 20/30 vision. GREAT NEWS!! Dr. Julian looked in his ears and said she has never seen cleaner ears before and she needs a medical student to come see what clean ears look like!! I will admit I was a little worried but he is doing great.

Imree is such a little worm, we have officially taken the sippy cup away and she now drinks out of a big girl cup. Cain tells her that she needs to go potty in the toilet like a young lady so the other day Imree was drinking out of her cup and was so excited that she didn't spill and said, " now I a lady." It was so cute. When I wouldn't give her a sippy cup she through a fit and said, "I not happy with you mom."  That was hilarious!! She is a great little girl.

Cain had school this week and we are down to one more week in April and graduation in May!!! THANK GOODNESS!!!
