A childs Prayer

I know I have wrote about Koye's prayers before but tonight's prayer made me laugh pretty hard and I had to type it up before I forget.. Yesterday I bought him some new Puma socks, but they stretch enough that I can wear them, so I gave him some gray Nike socks of mine and took 3 pairs of his Puma socks. Anyway, in his prayer he asked Heavenly Father to remind me that the red Puma socks are his not mine. Then he asked Heavenly Father to remind everyone to keep promises they have made to someone, even if they forget or don't want to, we need to keep our promises. It was so cute and heart felt and funny.. I love his prayers they may a bad day good or a good day even better. Koye has his second full day of Kindergarten tomorrow, he loved his first day so I can't wait to see what he thinks tomorrow!

Buffalo River

 We went to Island Park on Sunday and floated the Buffalo River twice. But Saturday night Koye, Cain, my awesome dad, Kaiser, Payson and Dylan all went camping, They took the horse trailer and roughed it!! haha ya right Anyway, Payson and Koye were up at 5:30 and got grandpa up and went and did a little fishing. My dad is fantastic, I love this man, I hope Koye grows up to be just like him. He is outgoing and fun and doesn't care to make a fool out of himself as long as it makes anybody laugh. He is the most amazing man I have ever been around.
 Anyway, to prep for the trip Cain decided to go to Cal-Ranch and he bought a Camp-Chef set complete with two burners, a BBQ and a griddle...its pretty fancy. I told him if he was buying this that he has to go camping now.. he didn't believe me and said no we will just use it on little day trips! Um-- I don't think so. I'm thinking for our anniversary I'm going to buy him a tent!! I think that is a fantastic Idea and for Christmas a 4-wheeler for him and dirt bike for me!! ha ya right we will see!!         

Anyway on Sunday my mom, Amber, Michael, Koryne, Imree and I drove to Island Park, when we got there Cain cooked us a great breakfast, he was so proud!! Then we waited for about an hour and went tubing down the river, oh man was it cold, but after a while pretty sure we were all numb..

We went down a second time because it didn't take too long and this time we saw two Moose, one about in the middle of the float and another one right after we got out of the water. I got a few pictures, this one had a collar around her neck, I'm thinking Fish and Game is tracking her maybe, but the kids were all so excited to see it. I have to admit I was too.

Then after we floated we cooked some Hamburgers and Hot dogs and Amber made this Strawberry Spinach Salad.. I'm for sure getting this recipe it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!! This was our annual trip to Island Park, it was fun and a much needed family get together! I love my family so much and so thankful my kids and I have them in our lives. Until next year, I can't wait to see whats in store, who knows maybe I will have a hard core camper on my hands (meaning Cain)
