LOVES OF 2011 SO FAR...

I wanted to make a list for my kids of the top 10 things I love so far in 2011:

1: My family of course
2: My favorite music right now is Adele (if any of you have time listen to Rumor has It, picture a 2 year old little girl trying to sing it, so stinking cute)
3: My new car a 2009 Chevy Malibu
4: I love to ride my horse spot (even thought I still haven't been able to and its almost the middle of March)
5: I love my Puma Shoes, I'm slowly getting a collection

  6: I love watching the food network (just found out there is a candy shop that makes a 5 pound gummy bear that has 12,000 calories) no that is not a typo.
7: I love to watch the Celtics play (but you already knew that)
8: I love love love chocolate covered Raisins  
9: I love my new teal bag!!!
10: I love spring and wish is would get her.


I dislike working nights I have too much time to think about things that I want my kids to know!!

Boise/ Steelhead game

We had a good shopping trip, Cain was pumped he got to go to Cabelas I kept to myself and let him enjoy his store. I was surprised that all he bought was a gun cleaning kit cause his old one was ruined somehow. I thought for sure we would come out of there with a new gun. I on the other hand came out of there with some new fancy polarized sunglasses (thank you Sammi and Wade) and a new Garmin GPS. Thank you Cain for my birthday present that I'm pretty sure you like more than I do, but since I'm the one that doesn't like to be at home, I will put it to good use, trust me.  (no laughing at the picture but I do like my sunglasses) I had such a great time in Boise, I must admit I needed that time away from my kids and from home. I love my kids with all my heart but sometimes you need to get away to remember what means the most to you.

Koye and his FIRST wrestling tournament

I had to hurry and put this on my blog cause I'm so excited about it. Koye had his first real wrestling matches tonight!! He did awesome, he is so aggressive. He pinned both kids, and was so polite to the other kids.. he was so excited jumping up and down. He was cracking me up. Oh and don't let me forget he was smiling from ear to ear. Cain even got into it a little bit, made me laugh. I'm so proud of him. On the way home he said, "I wasn't scared I just told myself I had to be strong so I could beat those guys." Did I mention he got a medal and he was so excited, that was all he talked about on the way home, "his first medal"

Koye and his mean face!! Such a great kid!!

Koye started to wrestle about three weeks ago and Cain thinks his pushups, cartwheels and situps all need help, so everyday Cain tells Koye he needs to work on one of these. I was surprised when I walked into the living room the other day Koye was working on his situps, feet under the couch and everything. I asked him to do something and he said "Mom, I have to workout, I need to be strong so I can win" silly little boy!! We bought him some new wrestling shoes and he wears them non stop around the house. I will be honest I am not a fan of wrestling but Koyes uncle Michael said he has a natural talent, that made me happy. I trust Michaels opinion, he has been around wrestling A-LOT!!! I can't say enough how much I love Koye, he makes me laugh so hard all the time and such a sweet kid if he knows I am having a bad day, he gives me the biggest hug and tells me he loves me!!

Imree, holy moly.. that girl is growing up so fast, for 2 she is so smart. Talks in complete sentences, knows what she wants or doesn't want. We were watching a game the other day and whenever there was music playing she was dancing away, cracks me up. I can't wait until next year and she can dance!! I would rather her play sports but until then she can do that!! Imree loves her books still but is really into Pheneas and Ferb and Micky mouse, any of those three things entertain her for about 5 minutes! She loves her monkeys both named freckles and her little pony pinky pie!! She and I love to watch the Celtics play because they are the best regardless of what some people may think!! Okay maybe she doesn't care who is playing but she likes to watch basketball with me!!

I work with some pretty amazing ladies at both my jobs, at First American Diane made this headband for Imree, I took the picture with my phone so it isn't the best, but isn't it stinking cute!!! Diane is this amazing lady who I swear can do it all. I have to admit I am pretty stinkin jealous of all she can do. Which brings me to my next thought, I have maybe two talents that I can think of and they aren't talents that will make me any money and they aren't talents that will get me by in life. But at least I have two right!! At work today a lady was talking about the pianist who was messing around with a spud gun and shot two and half of his fingers off, but somehow still manages to play the piano flawlessly. That to me is pretty amazing. So then my next thought, my two talents are I am a pretty good rider and am an alright mom!! I have decided that even though I'm getting old, its never to late to develop new talents right. I need to think of what I want to learn to do. I know how to play most sports, basketball, softball, volleyball.. I refuse to play tennis or golf. MM so if there aren't sports to take up what else? I could try to fish? But really who wants to stand and wait for a dumb fish to bite!!! I could go shooting Cain would love that but, I'll admit the first time the gun kicks I'm going to throw it on the ground!! I'm not a crafty person so to learn to knit or crochet doesn't sound appealing.. I guess I'm SOL!! I will think of something, I will get back to you on this one!!

Slacking

I have been slacking big time for the last couple weeks. My goal this year was to post something even if it was little once a week. So to get back on track let me tell you of some things that we have been up. Absolutely NOTHING!! It has been a crazy busy two weeks for me. Two weeks ago and no I don't want any sympathy but I worked 72 hours in one week and the next week I worked 47.. I know the second week doesn't sound like a lot but seriously being a mom, wife and working over full-time hours killed me.

Anyway, we are all doing great:
Imre, can count to 10 all the sudden and do most of her alphabet and talks in complete sentences. She is such a smart little girl. This little girl loves to read..
Koye, is loving school and picking on his little sister. I must admit though he has taught her a lot of what she knows good and bad!!

Cain has passed his journeyman's test and is just about done with school.. Thank goodness.. it has been a long um 4 years.. the first year he was in school I wasn't around. Glad he passed his test and with a pretty high score. He is a pretty smart old man. I'm so proud of him and his hard-work.

We went on a little trip this last weekend and I don't think I have seen so many deer in my life.. really 28 years and there were so many.
